Sara Teasdale (August 8, 1884 – January 29, 1933) is an American poet of the twentieth century. She has known to create a substantial body of lyric poetry with romantic features. Her poem assert the authority of female self through expression of personal feelings. The simplicity in her work has contributed a great deal to classical poetry.
